(mus)interpreted
A platform for alternative insights into the diverse realities of Muslim women through the work of Toronto-based, self-identifying Muslim women artists.
In my second year participating in the (mus)interpreted exhibition, I had the privilege of designing the branding for their fifth anniversary.
Collaborating closely with Zahra Agjee, the founder of the annual show, I developed the exhibition’s visual identity. The concept was inspired by how women interpret religion through the lens of their personal histories. This idea took shape in a geometric design, influenced by traditional Islamic patterns, which was applied across all exhibition materials.
Glitch was a part of this show.
