Sylvia
(March 2021: still Semi-Quarantine)
While I was working on HD Holden and La Taverna di Mama Floria, Sylvia (Sisi) and I had a sleepover.
She told me very strictly, “Raafia, I’d like if you painted my wall, but you are not allowed to use black.”
We had a nice dinner, gossiped, laughed a lot, she did a Covid test for me (she’s a nurse and was working in the Covid unit at the time) and went to sleep.
In the morning she went to work and I painted my first ever all-color-no-black wall.
When she came back from work, we had a nice dinner, gossiped and laughed a lot with a freshly painted view of flowers blooming :)
