The Tale of the Cinémagician

Known as the father of science fiction films, French illusionist and filmmaker Georges Méliès manipulated and transformed reality through cinematography. He created fantastical images and visual effects that had never been conceived of previously. It was his vision that motivated him to create the first moving picture of a rocket landing on the moon.
The poster and booklet are an introduction to the exhibition about his life and his influence on the development of the film industry.
